► Clutches

PowerTrain Technology pioneered the use of angled drive legs
with open-style clutches back in 1997. The floater plates are self-centring, and provide for inherent dynamic
balance. Angled legs increase the area of the driven surface, resulting in
an even distribution of forces. PTT's manufacturing methods allow it to hold
tighter tolerances, thus reducing backlash to a minimum. The hard anodised,
high-strength, billet aluminium cover has been designed to provide for better
clutch modulation.

PTT's replacement clutch packs utilize a premium friction material which
offers superior wear rates. Hubs are high-quality and are CNC machined from
hardened, alloy steel. These clutch packs can be used in most popular circle
track or road racing clutches. They are compatible with AP, QM and Tilton
clutches. They are available in a wide range of spline sizes. Discs are standard
with 6 rivets, however, an 8 rivet style is available for extreme torque
applications. Rally discs .20" and .25" thick are available in both metallic and
organic friction materials.

► Autronic Electronic Fuel Injection Systems
- Autronic produces two engine management systems, the SMC and SM2 and
replacement boards for Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi EVO cars. All offer three
dimensional mapping of fuel and ignition and are fully sequential. Also two
exhaust gas analysers.
All the engine management systems are available with the optional Autotune ™
chip and software which enables hands free tuning where no input is required
from the user other than running the engine through its various RPM and load
sites.
Autronic engine management systems will control injectors correctly, and are
renowned for their ability to control large injectors on small capacity engines
at small injector openings.
These engine management systems are used across the world in race engines in
Group A and N touring cars and rally cars, Drag racing, Water ski race boats,
Power boats and have won major races world wide.
► Flywheels & Starters
-
PowerTrain Technology's button style flywheels are lighter than the
competition's and have a lower moment of inertia. Button style flywheels are the
smallest diameter flywheel used to mount a clutch to an engine. When used with a
racing flexplate or a reverse mount ring gear, they provide the most economical
way to fit a racing clutch.
PTT flywheels have an industry-standard clutch
mounting flange (compatible with AP, QM & Tilton). Overall height makes it
compatible with QM and Sonic reverse mount ring gears.
Flywheels are available to fit a wide variety of
different engines. Manufactured from hardened chrome-moly steel, they provide a
solid foundation for the rest of your PTT clutch installation.

Weighing in at only 8 pounds, PTT's reverse mount starter is 3 - 4 pounds
lighter than most competitive starters. It produces 15% more torque at peak
horsepower for easier starts and longer life. It has a CNC machined, one-piece,
billet gear reduction mounting block with 4.44:1 gear reduction. This starter
features full ball bearing construction and a heavy duty shielded solenoid. The
aluminium shield acts as a heat sink, protecting the solenoid. Every starter is
dyno tested before leaving the factory. The reverse mount starter is directly
interchangeable with other manufacturers' reverse mount bellhousings. PTT also
offers starters to fit Chevy, Chrysler and Ford Small Block V-8 engines for use
with stock diameter ring gears.

► Con Rods

Saenz offers connecting rods in your choice of
materials and in your choice of beam. Through the beam oiling holes are also
available. Standard material is 4340 alloy steel but 300M high strength alloy
steel and titanium are also available. Unlike most rod manufacturers Saenz
develop a unique machining program for your individual engines design. By using
information that you supply (our specification form) our engineers develop a
machining program to give you the lightest and strongest rod for your particular
engines requirements, then build it.
Production in just six to eight weeks less time
than most manufacturers of special order rods
Saenz makes connecting rods for all racing and
retrofit applications. Single piece go-kart rods to antique specialty rods, drag
to tractor pulling, you name it and they've made it.
► Hydraulic Release Bearing

PowerTrain Technologys new Hydro-MAX Hydraulic Release Bearing (HRB) is
the lightest, trickiest, strongest drop-in HRB on the racecar market.
Weighing under 1-1/4 pounds sopping wet, Hydro-MAX is 30% to 60% lighter
than all other return spring equipped HRB's currently available! At just
over 2-1/4" tall, it is also the shortest. It has a full 1/2" of release
travel, (the longest travel in its class), and a built-in return spring to
ensure positive, 100% clutch engagement.

PTT's custom-designed, low drag,
1.6" radius face bearing is standard equipment. The smaller diameter contact
reduces clutch pedal effort, while also lowering the thrust on the back of
the crank! Hydro-MAX is CNC manufactured to rigid PTT quality standards from
high strength then hard coat anodised for long life.
